Tagged!

Carley Rene has tagged me, so here is the result.

The rules go:

If somebody tags you, you have to tell 6 random things about yourself, then tag 6 other people. Then, you have to tell you tagger. (It's also a good idea to tell your tagged people).

First, the six random things:

1. When I am really bored at restaurants, I suck lemons
2. I HATE going into new places with new people.
3. I am a bit of a germ-o-phobe.
4. I don't generally spend money and I am always on the look-out for bargains.
5. I have a very noisy beagle. She is very sweet.
6. I can't stand summer...ahhh fall and winter.

Now for the tagging (mwahahaha):

Sarah at One Girl
Joanna at Jo-With-It's Portfolio
Raora at With God in the Bush
Grafted Branch at Restoring the Years
The King's Missionary at The King's Missionary

Can't wait to see the answers and thanks, Carley! :)

Hi lucie!
Thanks a lot! Ha! Ha! I just missed half the debates! ;)
I didn't tag you back because I didn't know if that is part of the rules... but I tagged six other people! Thanks again.

O.k., let's see...

(1) I never touch the lemons at restaurants because they are often not washed.

(2) I eat oatmeal with cinnamon and stevia almost every morning.

(3) I like the fall and winter too; though where we live, Lucie, it doesn't really count. *wink*

(4) I never knew half the things I do now because of you.

(5) Your dad and I eat chocolate cake and ice cream every night after we send you off to bed.

(6) Number 6 is not true. But I'm guessing it made you giggle. Oh yeah! My daughter has the. best. giggle. ever!

Would you have tagged me if I still had a blog? :-)

Of course I would have, Emmy. :)

Oh, by the way...Raora (if you see this) I'm actually making the pattern for the bodice, but not for the skirt. Thanks to Pam--in Jerusalem, I found this really great site called Mom's patterns. The address is www.momspatterns.com.

If you search "eowyn" you'll find a few costume pattern that are actually LOTR! Thought you might like that :).

I think that the one that would work for Susan's dress would be the first one. Aside from the seams, it is almost exactly the same.

Hi Lucie!

In the Fellowship of the Ring, one of the main characters, Boromir, is killed by the orcs while he is trying to rescue Merry and Pippin, two hobbits. Boromir was the character in the grey tunic and the brown hair, who ran down the hill and attacked the orcs dressed up in black. The hobbits were the two little people in blue and red cloaks.

Glad you are interested!

Namarie,
Raora

THanks, Lucie, that helps me!!!
I am making Susan's green archery dress, but I will soon make her purple outfit too. I have a BUNCH of sewing projects in my head going on! :-)

Raora--Thanks!It's a lot easier to understand if you know the story line.

Emmy--How cool! Have you found a pattern for the Archery dress, yet? I was going to do that one until I saw the purple dress. A really good pattern for that one is McCall's 4491.

Thanks!
I actually found a fairly good pattern, Butterick 4827, which won't be too hard to alter.
I liked the McCall's one better, but it wasn't on sale...:-(
booohoooo...:-)
