Here are the pictures for the winter formal put on by our homeschool group. I was sooo excited to get to dress in something fancy and with plenty of "bling." ;) Me and a friend...
Doing the "macarana" or "macaroni," or something like that. It was probably the longest dance ever, but fun...
Talking...
Laughing...
Posing with another friend...(this one is b&w on account of the blurriness)
More laughing...I really don't remember why. I just break out in laughter right in the middle of nowhere for no reason, apparently.
It was a really fun evening, and it was my very first formal. I hadn't gotten to dress up that fancy since I was about eight for a father-daughter dance. Thanks to my wonderful dad who took all these pictures.

Fun times! Thanks for sharing pictures - I just love your dress! :)
Wonderful! I've never been to a formal party, unless you count my cousin's wedding reception (I was a bridesmaid, so was dressed up for that).
Your blog looks lovely, as usual! You have very good taste.
Happy New Year! (almost)
~Jo~
p.s. you look a lot like Anna Poppwell in the last picture.
@Hannah: It's a nice way to live, right?
@Eldarwen: Thanks so much!

I would be happy too, over the blog. I don't feel good about giving out my email address. ;)
Love the dress! I'm glad you had fun. Was it a homeschool thing? The only ones I've been to were with our homeschool co-op.
About The Young Victoria: It's rated PG, and there wasn't really any bad content. This review has particulars:

I'll be posting my own review in about ten minutes! =)
By the way, nice photos! Looks like you had a great time. :)
You looked lovely, and I love the necklace as well as the dress! And random laughing is a good thing (well, most of the time anyway!)
Oh, gorgeous! I love your dress. I don't think I've ever been to anything formal, sniff. And I don't even have a homeschool group right now! Double sniff! Looks like you had a lovely time.

Dear Lucie,
Your dress is absolutely ADORABLE. It reminds me a little of my Christmas dress this year... but mine's navy, not red. I've never been to a formal party or gathering or anything except church. But it does sound like a lot of fun.
I tried something new to send you an invite to my blog. Would you try to visit and let me know the result? I'll be away from home on Sat., but will try...
Love,
Kaitlin
P.S.
My computer has been out of order and Pa fixed it over his break from work!! So I'll be keeping up now...
I your old posts that I missed while my PC was broken. I LOVE Arsenic and Old Lace!!!
My family doesn't celebrate Halloween. So instead my Mom makes this really good Russian beet stew called borscht and we watch that movie ever Oct. 31st. We also hand out tracts with our candy to trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood. It's a great way to get the Word out to the kids...

@Lisa: Thanks so much...you've been so encouraging...
@Meg: Thanks so much!! I'm sorry that you don't have a homeschool group, formal or anything. But wait! You live in Germany. I'm not feeling that sorry for you. lol.
@KittiKat: I tried to get on your blog, but I was not able to.
